gun thoughts

first off whats up everyone.
i recently got my carry permit, so i'm in the market for a concealable (easy and confortable) gun, most of what i have is full size autos and althoufgh doable it ends up being a pain to carry it for 8hrs.
so i ve been looking at a couple pocket pistols, LCP, S&W bodyguard 380, and the kel teck (also the sig p238 but dang it is expensive for a pocket pistol)
but also been looking at a couple little bit bigger ones the springfield XD compact 9mm, S&W M&P compact 9mm and the beretta px4 subcompact. (not a glock guy)
so looking for some thoughts, pros cons maybe even other suggestions from you guys and girls
Thanks!

MMarino- Hello and welcome to the life style of concealed carry. The best suggestion I have for you is take in all the information you can. There are plenty of sites out there (including this one) that have a lot of great information. I don't have any specifics for you regarding what to carry and how. I can tell you what I did. I went to our local gun range and talked to them. I rented a variety of weapons until I found the right one for me. When you find the right one you will know it. Good luck. Keep us posted on how things go.

I have a Kahr PM9 and it is ultraconcealable, but expensive and not the easiest to shoot. I just picked up an XD subcompact in 40SW, tho its the same size as the 9mm, and WOW, what a gun. I chose the 40 cal just to get a little more bang, but the 9mm would be a great option too. Conceals nearly as well as my Kahr, in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster. These XD subcompacts are great guns!!

+1 for Kahr PM9. I thought it was easy to shoot. Controlable recoil, nice wide trigger. So far 120ish round of 115gr FMJ and 20ish round of Federal HST JHP without a single jam.
