Gun Shows

Got Beretta's?
Anyone going to the Gun Show in Clarence today?
Besides me of course.

Pretty good show. Picked up some practice ammo. .45 semi wad cutter and 38 wad cutters. Figured I can shoot in the back yard and not so loud for the neighbors.

Almost bought an AR15 lower, and came real close of a Beretta 92fs but decided to wait until the Hamburg show.

By the way, went to the Super Wal Mart in Hamburg yesterday. Ammo bin was half empty vs the last time I was there when it was totally empty.

Still no bricks of .22 anybody else seeing a shortage of 22's? Whats up with that?

How were the prices compared to this past year?

Gun Center and Gander Mountain have plenty of 22 ammo. dick's has its usual limited selection.

Is the show populatd mostly by local gun collectors?

I think the prices on AR's is finally coming down. Ammo is stabilizing but there was plenty of everything.
Five round AR mags seem to be scarce.
Lots of ammo cans etc.
They were dealers from Rochester to Ithaca and local.

Show in Hamburg is March 6 and 7 at Fairgrounds.

Hamburg Gun Show March 6 and 7

FYI! For the first time ever the Erie County Pistol Permit office will have a representative at gun shows to make the sale and transfer if pistos user friendly.
You will now not have to bring reciept downtown, have pistol put on permit, and then go back to the seller and pick up gun.
It will all be done at show 11-3pm sat & sun.

Got the info from SCOPE Erie County Chapter.
