At last does the general public understand that Law Enforcement cannot protect then!

I retired LEO and I must advise you to take your families safety into your own hands.....Very few calls do we arrive on scene that the damage has not already been done...
 
We keep telling the public. LEO cannot come in until a crime has been committed....i.e. After the fact and just in time to assess damage control...Aurora is just another example that you must take your family and yourselves safety upon yourself. Waiting can be too late...
 
I think it's also people realizing that some boneheaded laws now stand a chance of passing.

I just bought 5 more mags for my M&P. If you have anything with more than 10 round mags in it, I would stock up now.
 
Problem right now is that suppliers can't keep up with demand. That goes for rifles, handguns, and ammo. Even small time ammo makers are getting orders for half million+ round orders.
 
People are already flocking to the firearm stores and shooting ranges, I see demand pushing prices up up and up. I also see new problems for buying Ammo. online coming.
 
I know Cheaperthandirt has had some trouble with keeping Tulammo, Silverbear, & Brownbear in stock in the following calibers: 5.56x45, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54R.

I've even noticed shortages in things like .30 Carbine from manufactors like BVAC...

ugh...havent shot the others you mention, but Tula is dirty as hell.
