Gun related tattoos

I haven't seen any threads (unless I overlooked it) on here about tattoos and I'm interested if anyone else has any gun related ink you'd like to share.

Here's my most recent one that I'm pretty proud of. The yin yang next to it is not part of the Molon Labe tattoo, although it is personally symbolic to me.

It's on my forearm and yes, I do get a lot of questions like "what does that say? what does it mean?" etc. :girl_wink:

My biggest problem w/ tatoos is once you have one the cops have a means to positively ID you

That is so true. I have one as memorial to a family member and if it was not for him passing away I would still be un-inked. None the less nice tat it's Greek is it not? 'Come and take them"? King Leonidas I response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae was it not? I like all things history even more so when we are talking about battle's.

My Father In Law (ex-Navy) says when asked if he has any tatoo's "I've never been that drunk".

Gentlemen, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, of course.

Yes, it is Greek and comes from the battle between the Spartans and Persians. For me, it speaks to my strong feelings regarding my opinions on my right to keep and bear arms.

As for the cops being able to positively ID me, I don't forsee that being an issue.

I'm not ex-military and I wasn't drunk when I got any of my tattoos. Any reputable tattoo artist will not allow you to get one if they know you've been drinking.

I did not intend for this to evolve into a religious discussion, nor do I want it to go there.

I started this thread simply to see if anyone else wanted to share their gun related ink.

Thanks for your replies and have a wonderful day!

Love the tat! I really like the meaning behind it. I personally don't see the connection between religion and tattoos that was mentioned. I don't think the Greeks really had a problem with tattoos.

Hey gal, the tattoo looks cool even if I couldn't read it. Don't let the guys on here get you down. We all make comments about something or another but don't really mean to ruffle any feathers. We all try to play nice (sometimes).
