Yet another tragedy in a gun free zone.

Israel arms their teachers, ours should be armed also. We homeschool for a reason.

We also home school.

Sad thing is when I was in HS (same one my children would attend now if we enrolled) there was no rule against us bringing our rifles in our cars. We were, and still are, a small rural West Texas town. We were always discreet about it as we only brought them when we were going hunting or to 4H rifle practice after school. Now you get thrown out for so much as a pocket knife, which I also carried from elementary through graduation. Of course a firearm would now land you in jail.

Every single place the president named in his speech today was a gun free zone, including his home state. Allow the people to protect their life and their families. Unabridged 2nd Amendment. No gun free zones equal no open kill zones.

My school was the same way. If anything, it was ODD if you showed up to school in a pick up truck without at least having a shotgun in the back window. My friend had a 30-30.

When I was a freshman in HS the Vice Principal allowed me to bring my Fathers Colt 45 to make a holster,in Art class, for his birthday. We had shotguns in Pickup trucks also. In the schools parking lot! Yeah things have changed a lot since 1965.

Hunter safety classes were advertised during the daily announcements when I was a kid, and conducted in a classroom after school hours.
