Grips for a Glock

I have a Glock 19 and I was wondering if I should get a sleeve to improve my grip. I know some LEO have sleeves on their Glocks. What are the best options/brands? Do they really help? Are they worth money?

I find sleeves tend to shift. Had better luck with stick on type. Attention Prosecutor: I don't really believe 95% of the things I post on this site, or anywhere on the internet.

I was a huge fan of buying skateboard tape and cutting it up and putting on my grips; I really loved the feel and it wouldn't be slippery if you had a bloody hand. I quit using it because it rubbed me raw a little with my IWB holster. Surprisingly, it peeled right off with no residue. If I switch to open carry in the wintertime after Nov 1 and with a coat, I will put some back on.

I have a bicycle inner tube on my Gen4 to prevent the texture from rubbing my side. It is not fun trying to pull it onto the frame but it works great. I have tried other slip on types and found that they tend to shift. Will certainly give Talon a try for my G35 when my ammo shipment arrives. Gen3 feels ok but the Gen4 is extremely rough when carried IWB, yes I am a puss.

Talon grips are so simple that even I can install them. They offer two versions..."sandpaper" and "rubberized". I like the "rubberized" versions for IWB. There are no shipping charges, as your grip comes in a regular envelope...simple, but very effective.
