I knew they would make a movie out of it eventually. Shades of Gray is some weird stuff. Fascinating.

Not sure if FEMA will be the enemy when SHTF. Organized bands of urban youts my be a bigger threat.

People just don't realize how fragile our "civilized way of life" is.
Everything around you or in your hand came on a truck at one point.
Call it supply chain.
The bigger the city the sooner the effects are felt if the supply chain is disrupted.
In 2012 just about everything including trucking is dependent on electricity.
Eliminate electricity and you have the late 1800's minus the horses of course.
Guns ammo and toilet paper will be as good as gold.
