grant county CHL question

I have a question hopefully somebody could help me with . I live in Vancouver Washington and I do have have my wa. permit but I am wanting to get my oregon. Everything I have read is Sherrif Palmer in grant county is pretty much a for sure for non resident applicants. My question is, when I went to there web site I saw that they have a new sheriff. Does anyone know if he has the same views on this subject. It's about a 6 hour drive but feel it would be worth it rather than risking getting denied in multnomah county

You should be able to call the local sheriff office and ask them. Since you live so close to the Oregon line I wouldn't see why they wouldn't grant you a CC permit.
