Maybe they could throw #2 pencils at the shooter!! It's way past time to arm some staff members that are willing to be trained!! Or preferably some that already are!!

Or even allow armed civilian volunteers if the teachers are unwilling. I know that many teachers are, but then there are those like my wife - "I was called to teach, not carry." I'm working on getting her to understand that the two are not mutually exclusive, and that her first responsibility is to come home alive to her family if at all possible.
