Government Issues Study of a Study About Studies

The Pentagon was inundated with so many studies in 2010 that it commissioned a study to determined how much it cost to produce all those studies.

Now the Government Accountability Office has reviewed the Pentagon’s study and concluded in a report this week that it’s a flop.

The study of a study of studies began in 2010 when Defense Secretary Robert Gates complained that his department was “awash in taskings for reports and studies.” He wanted to know how much they cost.

Two years later, the Pentagon review is still continuing, which prompted Congress to ask the GAO to look over the Pentagon’s shoulder. What they found lacked military precision.

Every day on the radio we here about a new study. Some are so stupid you wonder how these people got in to a University much less conducted a study.

Here is a study for ya. Everyone who has ever died in the US has eaten bread. If we ban bread can we live forever? Give me a million dollar grant and I will get back to you later.

This country is run on theories that came out of those "studies" so what kind of success can you expect...??? There has and had been live experiences from others that came from more experienced leaders and workers, but this administration do not want to adapt what are already ongoing things that works. There has to be more studies and more people are employed to make these studies, a leader and more researchers...all wasted money, our money. I can't wait to help vote them all out of office and get down to reality that we have a country to run...

Most of these "studies" you don't even hear about...yet you pay for. Basically a way to keep liberal "scientists" from starving until they need their "expert testimony" or peer review of the next the-sky-is-falling hoax. They did a good job during the global warming/climate change hoax and deserve to be paid.

It is sad to read about the millions of dollars that are wasted in countless studies that will never produce anything worthwhile or even relevant to anyone and then realize that we had to borrow money from China to pay for it. Here are some examples of our government as proper stewards of our tax dollars:

$120 million in retirement and disability benefits to federal employees who have died
$30 million to help Pakistani Mango farmers
$550,000 for a documentary about how rock music contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union
$10 million for a remake of “Sesame Street” for Pakistan
$764,825 to examine how college students use mobile devices for social networking.
$113,227 for a video game preservation center in New York
$765,828 to subsidize a “pancakes for yuppies” program in Washington, D.C.
$100,000 for a celebrity chef show in Indonesia
$175,587 for a study on the link between cocaine and the mating habits of quail
$606,000 for a study about online dating
$17.80 Million in Foreign Aid to… China – (Department of State & U.S. Agency for International Development)
The Super-Bridge to Nowhere – (Alaska) $15.3 Million

And it is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to "studies".
