MAINE GOP WINS BOTH HOUSES OF LEGISLATURE

AUGUSTA- The Maine Republican Party has taken control of both houses of the state legislature.

In an historic repudiation of nearly four decades of Democrat policy, the latest returns show Republicans reaching 20 seats in the Senate and at least 76 seats in the House, establishing firm majority control of both bodies.

"The people of Maine has risen up and taken back control of their government," said Maine GOP Chair Charlie Webster. "We are humbled by the opportunity to finally lead our state into a new era of prosperity."

"We couldn't be more proud of the hundreds of volunteers and supporters that worked tirelessly to make this happen," said Maine GOP Executive Director Christie-Lee McNally. "This was truly a grassroots victory for the working people of Maine."

Not so good news here in MA. The same Constitution ignoring, Bill of Rights trampling, socialism loving, Obama agenda embracing, illegal alien problem ignoring, brainwashed liberal democrats are still here..

I am convinced that the level of intelligence required to vote for incumbent democrats equals that of the common house fly. Just provide them with some government handout and they will remain loyal...
