Good places to go RVing in Springfield/Eugene Oregon, and throughout the state of OR.

Hi,

My family just purchased a new Recreational Vehicle (RV) in Springfield, OR and we are wondering about where good places to go with it would be... We are thinking about maybe taking a drive up to the Florence area when it warms up (spring/summer) and spending the night somewhere around there... Any suggestions or pointers? Thanks! Help would be greatly appriciated.

I don't know your status but if by chance you are a disabled vet, OR used to have a program where you got special consideration if staying at their state parks, might pay you to check into this if you qualify. I was from NC and got the special ID from OR and used it a few times. Also if you are disabled you can get a special card for the Federal parks it gets you in free and sometimes gets a discount on camp sites.
