A Chicago teenager was shot and killed Friday only hours after her sister attended President Obama's speech on the city's rampant gun violence. Janay McFarlane, 18, was killed while walking with a friend during a visit to her dad, Herbert McFarlane, in North Chicago.

And their failure to learn the basic lesson that gun control will never stop criminals insures that these killings will continue. Their blood is on YOUR hands, Mr. President.

There are no lessons to be learned by liberals. They aren't interested in solution or righting any wrongs. For them it's all about emotions and good intention. This is the stuff that buys votes. Low information voters thrive for people that care about them. Democrats have perfected this game over the years. It helps that the main stream media is also complicit in this game. When liberal policies fail to work it's always the fault of the greedy uncaring rich republicans.

Chicago's police chief is in the news again today. It's pretty funny that the police chief always finds somebody else to blame for the high murder rate in Chicago. He even blamed Sarah Palin for it! Now it is the 2nd amendment lobbyists who are stopping him from getting more gun control to stop the murders. Last I checked, when something fails, you should try something new.

Sorry if it is ok I must disagree there are plenty of lessons to be learned by liberals, they are a case study in epic failure. I often look to liberals to teach my son the short commings of Socialism, failed utopia and Socialism is for the people not the socialist. I think one of our founding fathers said some thing to the effect if the voters can vote themselves a raise the Republic will fall, which I think we are on our way to unless there is an epic shift in the sense of entitlement culture. As far as chicago goes I think they have the government that they voted for and deserve as elections have consequences. Not that I am a greedy uncaring Republican I work hard every day to be a wealthy conservative who seeks to teach my son the value of hard work and personal accountablity. He is only 8 and he has a better understanding of our constitutional repulic than his left leaning teacher! Boy does that make her mad when an 8 year old can prove her wrong based on facts. I am glad we are over 59 miles from chicago however there parts of Indiana where they are moving to and trying to inflict their liberal views and policies. Stepping down from my soap box now

there gonna have a hard time in indiana. i dont live there but i go there alot. the amish influence is very strong there and, the amish live a very conservative lifestyle.
