Golden Tiger 7.62x39mm... experiances?

Just about the only brand I haven't tried for my AK/SKSs is Golden Tiger... anybody use this? Experiance? Like/dislike?

I finally found and shot several boxes of 5.56 Golden Tiger. No problems encountered. In my opinion it was fine for range/plinking, for other purposes - don't know, didn't try. It was low cost and that worked.

I can't imagine it'd be much different than Tulammo, Bear, Wolf or any other Russian steel case for plinking use... like you said, not sure how they'd be in hunting applications... thanks Babarock.

Works well for me. Not exactly match-grade stuff, but still fun to shoot.

3,000 rounds and not a problem with a single round. All fed well through my Lancaster, Polish 1960 Milled, Yugo Underfolders, and GP-1975 AK's without a single issue.

I also like the way the Golden Tiger Ammunition has both the primers and case mouths very neatly sealed. Not flooded on the back like Sellier & Bellot does with their 9 MM pistol ammo.

I have a bunch of Sellier & Bellot in .45acp, oddly enough I found it to cause malfunctions in my Thompson... it seemed to be loaded either too hot or too cool and would trigger the bolt hold-open.... didn't investigate too much, just switched ammo and had no more problems. S&B works well in my 1911 though...

Golden Tiger is my favorite 7.62x39 ammo. Never a problem.

Fired about 100rds with zero malfunctions through one of my AKs and my SKS, as expected...

Where are the best sources you guys have found for the best price per round? I've searched cheaperthandirt, ammo-to-go, aimsurplus, and nachez... what other sites do you guys use?
