going to ssi court today

Wish me luck I am really nervous . Sick of fighting this battle though
 
Congenital heart defect , under devolved lungs , asthma , add , ADHD , depression , I have been sick for over a month now went from tonsillitis to sinus infection I have acute bronchitis right now sore as hell sick as hell
 
My case went through in two minutes sat down and was back up it went through . I cryed my eyes out after because they didn't even ask the vocational worker if they could find me work .

I developed a viral cardiac infection some years ago that went undiagnosed for many years. And now it's too late. Damage is worsening quickly and I'm pretty far gone. Much too young to face this prognosis.

For you there are many programs for meds, assistance, employment training, etc. Let me point you to some of this.

I appreciate it . But I get free medical . My social security case went through . I won so I don't need employment help I can't get a job anyway . Can't physically do it
 
I seriously needed it . I am grateful I got to try to work though and my mom didn't put me on it as a child . I worked from 15-20
 
You obviously can't work now or anytime soon, but don't give up on work forever. You never know what will happen in the future.

Just a little confused with this comment. NICU is Neo-natal intensive care unit...not the name of a respirator...

Dark: That was a pretty cheap shot. This kid has problems which he has shared with us all. He worked within the system and will benefit from it. No one on here who has complained about the nanny state has ever complained about a case such as his. There are people out there who need and deserve help and we all can agree on that. The problem comes in with those who are taking advantage of the system and just sit on their rear ends
and drain the treasury. There seem to be more of them than those with legitimate problems and we all know it. That's where the rub comes in!

Boxin: Just hang in there old son. There are several of us on here who are fighting similar battles but you just can't give up. I have cancer and a failing heart but I intend to stay around as long as I can just to aggravate people and, believe me, I do a pretty good job at it. Read John 11:25-26, take it to heart, and don't worry. It will all work out for good. God bless you.

Glad you got the SSI. If there's ever anything you need PM me. We have access to the best cardiac surgeons in the big NYC hospitals and will do whatver you need.

I agree. This is EXACTLY the reason for these programs. This kid needs help and he should get it. I'm willing to pay whatever tax is necessary for kids like XBOXIN. The system gives deserving people like him a chance, dignity and a future.

I should upload my cost of scripts . From last April he wouldn't say another word . April until now cost caresource 8500 something that doesn't include my tests or doc vists or when I go to the er . I need the Medicare to be honest . I will only get the caresource for god knows how long . Obama care . Imagine needing to get a inhaler to be able to breath and not having the 60$


And playing the system ? Please I could have lied and faked stuff but I was honest even in court I don't have to lie . But people do suck they system and then people like me or the guy with cancer have to fight and fight and fight . While being sick all the time . I wish more then anything that I was able to run around with my daughter at the park . How low would you feel of you couldnt do that and seen every other man there doing so ?
 
Congrats on your case. :)

I too have SSI but it was a long battle. I have chronic pains and depression plus a poor sense of balance that I use a cane to walk. I also went back to court for back pay, didn't expect that but my lawyer found two psychiatric reports that qualified me much earlier. I won.
