Going from two guns down to one.

Thinking of selling my LCP and G27 and buying a 9mm something. Is the LC9 that much thinner than the 27 or would I be sorry? Really can't afford three guns.

Single stacks are great and not great at the same time. You're giving up capacity for better concealability. If you absolutely want and need to keep it hidden then go for it, but if not id stick with the glock. You could always consolidate everything to a glock 19/26 if you want to go to 9mm. In all actuality the 19 is my preferred of the 2 simply because after you add on a mag extension the size is almost comparable to a 19 but with less rounds

Make sure that you really want to reduce your inventory. I reduced twenty years ago and regretted it ever since. I have now replaced what I got rid of but at a higher cost. I would like to add the LC9 to the inventory. My wife has been bugging me about one. Each person must make up their own mind, good luck.

As both a very satisfied owner & concealed carrier of the Glock 27, I 'cringe' at the idea. DON'T DO IT!!

Shopt the lc9 first. Id recomend a conversion barrel for the 27 though. Best idea I rhink would be saving up for it and own 3 guns. Don't ever feel pressured to buy.

It would be great if you could try out the LC9 before you decide. Our LGS has where you may rent them and try them out, I don't know if that is a option for you. I shot the LC9 and had a lot of trouble hitting the target, maybe because of my big paws. I wish you luck in your decision.

I have a Gen4 Glock 26. I am 5'5" and 143 lbs. in good shape. Nothing against the LC9 because I have never shot one. I would rather have one in the chamber and 10 in my mag with an extra mag on my person and deal with concealing a double stack even with my small stature than go down to a single stack. I carry IWB at 8:00 in a SmartCarry and barely know it is there. I just have one gun. Just started carrying this past June. I carry and train for self defense and for me, less is more. I want to know this one gun inside and out and have it become an extension of me before I even think about adding another. Just my thoughts.

A couple of years ago I traded my unfired S&W M&P9c for a Taurus 709 Slim to get something thinner. I love it.

I agree with Outlaw on this..Keep the Glock 27. Why give up a 40cal for a 9mm...I would bet the Glock 27 will not see the FTF issues others will. I can't even count the number of rounds I've thrown through my Glock 27 and it has never had a FTF issue.

If you really want to down size how many guns you I would not do so for a 9mm. Kahr makes a really nice 40cal it's a single stack real slim and easy to conceal yet packs a punch. DON'T TRADE CANNONS FOR BB'S

I love how people bash 9mm, really? A BB? God I'd love to get you drunk and talk you into taking a shot from a 9mm.

Wow you are a bad person

I'm a big fan of redundancy, I have a backup for my EDC 1911 and my work P226 as well as my AR15.

Yeah really a BB And what is with getting drunk and shooting. How would that change anyone's mind on their thoughts or opinion on a certain caliber

I am not a Glock fan, but I don't like the trade. You have a small pistol. Now, if you want to give up the LCP and get the other, I'll take it. I don't think you will be happy. And if you are shooting that much, I'll bet you really won't be happy.
That LCR for pocket carry is priceless.

Good Luck
