glock sights

Have some truglow sights on my g19 and the set screw keeps working its way out during a shooting sessions. Those sights r pressed in pretty good, do I even need that set screw in?

You probably could do without the set screw. It is there as a safety measure. If you want to keep the screw, use a little red thread locker 271.

Don't use Red lock-tite, use the Blue it is servisable lock-tite. Meaning you can get it out if needed a lot easyer than Red.

A little clear nail polish on the threads will work too... And easy to remove the screw if ya need to.
