I like mine. Recoil is pretty stiff. I was carrying it over my Glock 26 because I have a Laser on the 26 and it was a little harder to conceal. I am thinking I will reverse that and keep the 27 as a house gun with the Laser and carry the 26 just because I can get back on target after a shot faster with the 26.

I sold my 23 and got a 19 for better accuracy on my second shot. The 40 is a snappy round. I have a 26 now for my EDC. But shoot what you like. I simply decided I preferred the 9mm. I had a couple thousand rounds through my 23 and was comfortable with it. I just like the 9 even better.

I have a 27 Gen 4. I hope you're getting the Gen 4. It's a awesome handgun for personal protection. The 40 caliber is a great round. You'll be very happy with it.

I have had 27 since 1998, carry it ev. Love it. I shoot it better than my Gen 4 35. 40 cal is a hard hitting, controllable round.

I too have a G27 Gen 4 for my everyday carry, and I love it. I just finished a 2 day Fighting Pistol class with the gun and put about 1000 rounds through it without any hiccups. I conceal the gun with the standard 9 round mag just because it prints less, but I keep another mag with a Pierce +2 finger extension in my pocket.

A 27 was the first Glock I bought, many years ago, still have it at one time I had a dozen Glocks in the collection, trimed it down to 5 the 27, 23, 19, 26, and a 31C, the others which some were duplicates were traded for 1911s problem was the 1911s cost about 3 Glocks, I am wanting to get some range time with a 30s before buying, afraid the grip is a little to big for me,

I love my G27 as it is one of my EDC. Have had it for years and I do have other pistols for daily carry all depending on season and dress. Never had any problems with it and shoots well. Did buy the Lone wolf conversion barrel in 9mm so I could shoot this as well. Can convert to 9mm from .40 but not the other way around. 2 different calibers to shoot for little more than the price of one pistol. Breeze to breakdown and clean.
