Glock 27 vs. Springfield Armory XD mod2

Any thoughts on comparing both these guns. I am Glock man thinking about getting the XD any thoughts???

I was looking at the XD Mod2 just yesterday and I like what I saw and would get it in a heart beat, I have the Springfield XDm .45 4.5 and love it, it was my first handgun. See if you can go to the LGS and feel one.

I did love the feel. I have a glock 27 love it and had the XD but sold it to get my 27 back. When I pick up the Mod2 it I felt good. I know XD I'd a good gun just want some research before I sell my Glock 27 again!!!

I haven't being to the LGS this week but I'm going to try to go tomorrow and see if they have any, I want buy it because I have enough guns now.

I love the grip better than the glock 27 but I love my glock but when I draw from carry it grips better we see in had a 9mm. But would l ok very an .40

Meant love my glock but love the grip and trigger pull of the XD better. Had one in 9mm. Went back to G27. Extra ounces suck a little too but it is a nice gun we shall see going to look at it again

I have had both pistols, and much prefer the XD series. When the Glock first hit the US, I bought one, and hated it. The magazines were plastic, and you had to pull them out of the well. My lieutenant said that was the European philosophy, they did not want their officers and soldiers just dumping magazines, the way we were trained. It took hours of sanding and applications of silicon lube to get the magazines to drop. I sold it off as fast as I could. I love the SA XD series. I carried an XD-40, and never had the first bad moment with it. It is my humble opinion that you would be better off with the XD. I know I am going ot take a lot of flak from Glock fanatics, but I just don't like the Glocks. They may be adequate nowadays, I just feel that, like Corona beer, they are way over-rated.
 
Domingo, I just sold an XD-40 to buy a Hi-Point .40. I would have dearly loved to have both, but being on So-so Security does not allow me that privilege. Best of luck.

I don't know Glock 27 gen 4 the most reliable gun I've had the XD mod 2. I love the Beretta Px 4 storm compact .40 cal I think Glock and beretta are the two best made guns hands down. I had the 1911 Smith & Wesson's

Yes Bigdaddyyankee try the beretta px4 storm compact 40 the rotating barrel makes a huge difference with recoil

Have xd mod 2 45 13+1 extended mag 9+1 reg mag shoot fantastic fix my hand better then g27 weighs less then my para warthog with same capacity "
