Glock 26 Gen4 bought new yesterday

After trading my LC9 yesterday for the Glock 26 gen4, I was able to take it behind the house a few minutes ago and shoot the Glock. I shot 20 PMC 115gr. round nose and 2 hot Corbon loads. I was shooting at a barrel about 20 yds away, offhand just to see how it would shoot, hit the barrel everytime with a smaller group than I would have imagined. I really like this pistol and it may replace my Glock 36 as my primary concealed carry pistol. If I do use it as my concealed carry pistol, I will have to shoot it some more, and load it with 100gr. Power ball ammo.
As I indicated in another thread, my primary reason for letting the LC9 go is because I am left handed. I purchased the LC9 last summer and only shot less than 20 rounds thru it before decided that it really didn't suit me.

I have the G27 in .40 caliber and concur with your assessment for the size/wt/accuracy of these! It's my "go to" for CCW!

I love my Glock 26.

I love my Glock 26, but now that I have tried a Crossbred Holster, super tuck delux with a combat cut, I find I could easily conceal a full size Glock 19.

I use a Wilderness Holster for my Glock 36 for concealed carry, it looks like a CD player holder. Nobody knows what is in it and I have never had anyone question what was in it at any store. They make a smaller Wilderness holder for the Glock 26/27 which I am thinking about getting it, but with this holster you can't add *2 mag extensions and still fit. I have a crossbread holster also, but with the wilderness holster you don't have anything hid, you just wear it on your belt.
Anyway, just my 2cents worth for my own concealed carry with the Wilderness holsters.

I love my 26 too although I feel better carrying my 30SF or 36 because it packs a bigger punch.

I pray I never have to use it but God forbid I do, I think a .45 will stop someone a little faster. I have a little heft so the difference In recoil between the 9mm and .45 is inconsequential.

Proper shot placement will get you by with the 9mm so practice often.

I wish I could shoot in my backyard like you can, lucky dog!

Shooting in the back yard or about 200 yards behind the house is where I can shoot, one of the advantages of living on a farm in a rural area of the country. I concur with the 45acp, that is why I own a Glock 21, 30 & 36 and had previously chosen the Glock 36 for my concealed carry gun. Ammo has come a long ways in the last few years, especially with Corbon, their Powerball ammo is especially hot. That is one of the reason that I finally decided to try the 9mm and to maybe carry it as my CCW.

Another plus for the 9mm is cheap ammo, I bought 2 boxes of 50 rounds each of American Eagle 9mm FMJ-RN at ****'s the other day for $11 and change. I reload also, but with ammo this cheap to practice with, it makes it easier just to buy it. If I do decide to use the Glock 26 for my concealed Carry gun, I will use the Power Ball ammo in 100gr for my concealed carry ammo.
