Glock 26 Gen 4 mags longer than Gen3??

I am wondering why my finger keeps getting pinched using my Pierce +0 extension on my Glock 26 Gen 4. I don't remember it happening to me when I owned a Gen 3. I seem to remember the Gen 3 mags seating more flush than the Gen 4's are.
Anybody got an answer for me?

I had the same problem, but they pinched me on both the Gen 3 and 4,

I have the Gen 4 G26 and have a couple factory Glock 12 round extended magazines, no pinching issues.

No pinching issue on the Pierce +0 XL but I don't use it often, mostly at the range.

Some of that issue is related to the tamper-proof magazine floor tabs. Older mags may not have had them, but the new mags certainly do. I've noticed that the aftermarket mag floors don't sit as high on the magazine due to those tabs as they did on older magazines.

That said, I did get pinched on aftermarket mag floors no matter the era they were from on my G30 and G26.
