I had the chance to hear him speak for fellow veterans and Ohio state ROTC in January before his retirement...totally amazed at the way he answer all questions...no BS just an honest 43 year vets answers!

Is this a mandatory retirement because of his refusal not to fire on American citizens? Not to take away from his meritorious service, just curious?
