Hey all,
Now that it's starting to warm up, I plan on getting on my road bike more and more. I've never conceal carried on a bicycle before, but I've been reading a few threads on the topic here and elsewhere. What I've gathered is that concealing my LC9 on my bike itself is a bad idea in case I get separated from my bike, and that I should keep it on my person. I have a traditional Camelback hydration pack (backpack), which doesn't really make the gun accessible. I'm considering getting a fanny pack, but I don't really want anything that low on my body (and they look silly, IMHO). However, I came across a "lumbar hydration pack" that Camelback makes that I am considering:
Camelback FlashFlo
It seems like it could function well both as a gun holster, and for carrying water should I happen to run out of water in my water bottles. It seems like I would be able to access the gun fairly quickly. Does anyone have experience with lumbar hydration packs? Thoughts?
