Coalition to Stop Gun Violence news release:

“It is not up to public officials to provide for the safety of Starbucks’ customers and employees. That is [the company's] responsibility as a private business and theirs alone.” Starbucks and Guns: Four Blunt Observations - Businessweek

Talk about a sudden change of stance! They have been one of the groups screaming the loudest that we have to leave our protection to the police.

Now, according to CSGV, the police aren't responsible to protect us if we are in a business, the business owner is.

According to business owners, however, they don't have to do jack to provide for the safety of the public transacting business on their premises, even when they tell the public they have no right to defend themselves on the premises of their business, that's up to the police.

Since neither of them want anyone to protect the public, that puts it back on the public to provide for their own defense - so both of you get the heck out of the way and let us defend ourselves!!!

So when I conceal carry back home and I go into a Starbucks than does that mean I wasn't suppose too? Oh well, no sign, don't care.
