Wow I guess I missed "it"? Any pictures to post?

Peace..

Psst, homosexuality is not a choice. During the time it takes you to read this, at least one baby who will grow up to be a homosexual will be born.

Same sex couples have raised many children with very good results.

KN, what is it you are "protecting" the children from?

Perhaps, you should know the difference between pedophiles, and homosexuals. They are almost never the same. Just Google those topics, and become enlightened.

What is a lifestyle, that is acceptable, and Moral? Do you live in Utopia?

Marriage, since long before the time of Christ, has been sanctified by the church. Personally I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. That being said, I also believe same sex civil unions are up to the individuals. It's not for us to judge in matters of morality that's the Almighty's job. The problem comes when one state allows same sex marriage and another state does not. If a same sex couple was married in a state that allows it and moves to a state that doesn't how can they expect to get a divorce in that state? Their marriage was not recognized there in the first place. As with any other law, learn those of the state you intend to live in before deciding to move there.

My Bible, in BOTH the Old Testament and the New Testament, tells me that homosexuality "is an obimination to the Lord". If our Creator God finds it apprehensible, there is NO way that I can put my personal seal of approval on it. The bottom line is that Jesus died for the sins of the world...that includes you, me and everyone else. The necessary reaction, to the price our Savior paid, is for everyone to recognize his/her own sin, turn to God in repentance of that sin and strive, with His divine help, to live lives that are pleasing in His sight.

In the words of Russ Diamond (candidate for PA LT. Governor):
I support traditional marriage and would not be a member of a church that marries same-sex couples.

However, the republican form of government is designed expressly to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority and to provide equal protection for all.

As such, it is quite possible that a Pennsylvania court will one day rule that marriage, and its government-provided benefits, must be made available to everyone.

For this reason, I support extracting government authority from the institution of marriage completely, and giving full authority over marriage back to institutions that are competent to the task of preserving traditions.

Government is simply not capable of preserving the sanctity of anything.

I have for years been an advocate for getting the government out of the business of sanctioning marriage.

lWhat do ya'll have against gay marriage? I'm a pretty jolly guy, my wife and I laugh alot, we've had a boat load of laughs raising kids. Why, we've had a gay marriage for 30 years!

(Psst, Hey Flash, gay marriage is, like, when two guys live together and they...What?!! Eewwww...What the hell is "gay" about that??)

Once upon a time the word gay had a good meaning. Gee I miss the good old days.

It is each one who must choose their path and God will judge them. If we start using our religion to destroy those we think are morally wrong then we are no better than Muslim extremists. As I said, I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I don't condone, or support, same sex "marriage". Legal contracts (civil unions) are an individual choice which will be judged by God later. For humans to judge people solely based on skin color, sexual orientation, sex, or any other non-criminally based reason is wrong. We can give guidance and teach the bible but those who decide not to listen are in God's hands not ours.

I agree about the skin color but not sexual orientation. A person has no choice about his skin but contrary to what some think a person is not born homosexual. I think scripture is pretty clear on that. Romans is a good place to get the answer on that one.

Please provide a link to the Russ Diamond quote if possible. On the face of it I agree with him, it's rare to find a politician making sense.

Link Removed Here is the link to his "Issues and Positions." The marriage part is about 2/3 down the page, but feel free to check out the rest of his page. He seems to be another one of those "rare breed" sensible politicians. If we get Link Removed for Gov., and Diamond for Lt. Gov..... Just... WOW!

We are not judging when it comes to morality or what is good or evil. God has made it perfectly clear so that we do not have to judge, just confirm.

Homosexuality, ABSOLUTELY IS a choice. There is a point where they decided that this behavior was acceptable to them despite how wrong it is. We have made way too many accomodations for people with this disorder. There are even churches that they can go to now where they can pretend to be christians. What they need to do is spend some time with the lord and ask for a healing hand.

If I am wrong and they are not consciously deciding to behave this poorly, perhapps we classify this as a mental illness and actually research and develop a treatment.

I may not make many friends saying this, but I am COMPLETELY AGAINST gay marriage. I dont believe its right. Marriage is for a man and woman. The bible clearly states that a man shalt not lay with another man. I believe that is true with women as well.
Marriage, what the heck is the point in getting married if your same sex? Whats the point in being with someone of the same sex if you cant have children? It makes NO sense to me....I do no support it.
Im a christian, and it just violates my beliefs, I am a republican, and it goes against my morals. Bleh...Cant beat a dead horse though can ya...
