Gap45

I was at Walmart in SC this weekend and saw they has ammo. I asked the guy for acp45 which they had in stock but when I got home to 'Michigan I went to put it away and see he gave me GAP that was sitting next to it. Of coarse it can't be exchanged. So what can I do with it. What besides a Glock will shoot this round. I wanted it for my XDs45. Can I sell it legally? I told my wife that now I would have to go buy a gun it will fit.

In SC and many other states you can sell ammunition. Try armslist.com who have prompts to many states and cities and you may find someone who will purchase. In today's market I would think this will be an easy sell for Glock ammo. There are other internet sites out there--just use your computer and find them.

You are missing the actual ammo that you originally tried to purchase. :no:
Why didn't you verify your purchase in the store while you where paying for it? :big_boss:

Well I was on a long fast trip driving my Motor Home from MI to SC for service. I have some really bad neck issues that keep me in pain all the time. I had stopped for the night late and had set up in the parking lot of a Walmart to sleep for the night. I took a couple of pain pills and tried to sleep. After a hour or so I gave up and decided to wander around the super Walmart and see if they had ammo. I saw the ACP and told the guy I wanted a box but was looking at other items as I paid for it at the counter. It was my fault I was just not paying attention and got burned. My bad. All I was asking was what can I do with it. Thanks for the help I did post it on Armslist and hope to get my 33.00 back. If not it will set until I find something to shoot it.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues...
My best guess is that you will most likely have to take this ammo to a gun range and 'rent' a Glock that's chambered for .45 G.A.P. and use it for target practice.
Consider it one of those many 'life lessons' I suppose.
Sometimes wasting money is just a part of life unfortunately.
 
I thought about renting one if someone local doesn't buy it that's what I'll do. The gun club I shoot at doesn't rent guns and the few guys I asked couldn't use it. No big deal just asking. The good thing is I found Armslist which is a cool web site.

You may want to ck with your local gun/ammo shops and ask if they may exchange it for ACP ammo, however I wish you luck as I know a lot of guys that shoot and have several differant caliber weapons, but no one has a 45GAP
 
It's just a little shorter than ACP and is claimed to have a high power powder that gives it a high velocity. I didn't know
What I had when I got home. I guess I was excited to find some ACP and thought I was going to get some range time with my XDs.

Its Glocks creation, which I beleive was so they could get 45 power in a pistol with a more freindly size grip, the Glock 21 and 30 which fire ACP rds have a fairly large grip, the Gap pistols have a grip more like the standard size Glocks, the gun shoots nice but the biggest downside is the limited choices and unavalability of ammo
 
I would imagine with all the Glock fans on this site, it wouldn't be a problem to get rid of it. How bout helpin a brother out all you Glock shooters?
