Gander Mtn Sale...

Just thought I would send out an FYI to those that have one close. They are running a sale thru Feb 25th with some decent prices on ammo(what the price was 3+ months ago). Rep told me they get truck delivery late on Wednesdays so Thursday morning is a good time to go. They had a good selection today. Hope this helps those seeking to stock up.

Thanks for the info. There is one I can stop by on my lunch break. When Gander has sales it is deffinately worth the visit. I also think they have reasonable prices on used guns if you look hard enough. I bought a used new condition 10/22 and a Winchester 1300 defender, same condition, for $400 for both. But that was last April...

I just dropped by the one in Palm Beach. No 9mm except some defense rounds (and relatively small amounts in stock) . Also no 22 mag. They do have plenty of everything else. Even picked up some 7.62x54R.

Tons of 40 45 380 and all kinds of rifle ammo.

Yeah. You got to time it right. Two weeks ago, they had I bet 150+ boxes of 100 round value packs of .45 American eagle. I bought 4 boxes. A day and a half later, only 3 boxes remained. Bought those too. Again, prices were reasonable. No Hornady critical defense though. Haven't seen those for a while in .45.

They had critical defense and critical duty... Some in 9mm but not in 45 ACP. They did have them in 45 Colt. Plenty of gold dot in all bullet weights.

Th 9mm critical duty are actually 135 grain. Not ready to give up the gold dots yet but I got some to try out at the range.

I gift wrapped a couple of boxes of gold dot 9mm and gave them to my wife when I got home and she got excited.

I got the sale paper in the mail yesterday and went to get some .223, 9mm and .22's. They didn't have any Federal .223 except 1000 rd. cases for $499.00, no 9mm and no .22's.

I was visiting family in Palm Beach Gardens... Just stopped in Jacksonville for more family. Normally I'm near Atlanta.

They had plenty of 22 just no 22 mag

Doesn't matter how good the prices are. The local Gander is full of empty ammo shelves.

I think the locations near the bigger cities see more foot traffic/demand. I am fortunate that the one near me has some weekly supply due to being a smaller market. Check with your store to make sure all stores are on that Wednesday delivery schedule.
