U should get it because I'll tell you it is worth every dime. The holster is very comfortable I can hardly even tell I am wearing it. It's so comfortable that I could sleep wearing it. And the retention is just right.

Galco vs. Crossbreed

Anyone have both and have any input? My CB is on the way.... But MidwayUSA has the galcos for way cheap....

The KingTuk's are nice looking holsters but the thing that stopped me from buying one is they have 2 screws holding the clips instead of 1, I don't see how (when canted) it could sit on your belt line the right way when they swivel. Granted you could just take one out but that's ghetto. Aside from the one really non-issue they appear to be nice. Galco's been around a long time I'm sure it's a great holster.

If you ordered your CBST from Crossbreed themselves, I'd cancel it and re-order from Midway. It'd get there in a couple days vs weeks.

It took mine 6 weeks. Check my post of CrossBreed customer service though. They sent me a free one because the post office lost mine (even though they found it). So technically two for one... Midway doesn't offer that.

I have many Galco Holsters and love each and everyone of them. They make an A-One product and always have been comfortable wearing their holsters.

After wearing my CBST for a couple days now, I'd say they are super-comfortable; however, I think I will buy a Galco just to compare. Also, I've heard that the Kholsters are nice as well... So, my advice is why not try all three? If you have enough guns used for carry you may as well try out the different brands.

Galco ripped off the Crossbreed. For that reason alone I would not buy Galco. I've been using the Crossbreed for a good while now and it is, by far, the best complete concealment holster I've ever used.

And allegedly Crossbreed ripped of Tucker. There's a lot of people making hybrids these days and the CBST is a good holster but the reality is the all the other people making them typically charge half and get them out to people in half the time and with the same quality. Arguing which is best is pointless because it's preference more than anything. People like what THEY have. I've got a couple of them. You can't say one is better than another if you don't have the others.

Don't get me wrong. Trying out various holsters to determine which is best for you is the only smart move. Personally own at least 2 Galco's and they do make some nice leather holster as does Ross Custom Leather. So yes, try, try again. But whe you find one that, as soon as you put it on says "this is it!" I tend to stop looking and start wearing.

And you will note in my post I did say "by far, the best complete concealment holster I've ever used." Strictly my opinion on what I use. That is the glory of these blogs. People ask and I can give my opinion.

Oh, by the way, acording to the individual manufacturers web sites and news releases:
Crossbreed introduced and marketed in 2005, Tucker developed and introduced in 2006 and Galco introduced in 2011, a version of the leather and kydex hybrid IWB concealment holster. I didn't bother looking any further.

And I woulld imagine there are more out there, like you said "a lot of people make hybrids".

I've used Crossbreed's SuperTuck (ST) for years with my glocks. Just ordered a Galco Kingtuk for my PM-9. Both are supurb. I can testify tho to Crossbreed's customer service - NON better. This style holster conceals better, rides on the belt more evenly, protects the slide from skin contact and is all-day comfortable. I've worn a Glock 23 or a 27 all day, every day for years. As for me, there is no need for any other belt holster. My only complaint is that I wish I'd have come accross the Supertuck before trying this or that or those holster(s) as I would have saved a bit of cash.
