GA Firearm Licence

I'm pretty much a newbie here, but today I just applied for my Weapon's Licence here in GA. Seeing as I'm a Green Card holder, the experience was very good and it cost me $72.25. The finger printing was even done in the Probate Court, so I didn't have to go to the PD or Sheriff Dept. It's nice living in small-town GA. Overall it took just under an hour.

A follow up to my initial post. I got my licence in the mail this morning so I am very impressed with the turn-around time. I've got reservations to do a Women on Target in March and then hopefully the NRA Basic Pistol as well. Looking forward to doing some gun shopping!

Be particular about the weapon you choose... I know money makes a lot of difference for some of us, but fit is more important than price.
