G26 or G30

Currently have a G26, however I was looking at going to a 45 ACP, this is for EDC. I am 6'2" 220

Should I go with the G30 or stay with the G26..... Any and all opinions would be great !

I love the g30. Just the right feel for me.

G30, no doubt. Try the SF model if the standard is too big for your hand. Thats what I went with.

Yeah, try both G30's. Maybe the 21 and 21SF too.
The G30SF fits me well, and I have big hands, 6', 240..
In these, the .45 just pushes, no snap like the .40's.
Keep the 26 for a pocket gun!

I can see why you want to get rid of that old useless G-26. You had better send it to me so I can dispose of it for you properly.

Seriously if you want to go to a .45 then the G-30 would be a good choice. You already are comfortable with the platform and the G-26 would be a great BUG or primary when you wanted a smaller gun. Personally I'm happy with the 9MM but I fully understand the preference for the .45. I imagine you will pick up some of the 13 round magazines for spares and range shooting. You will add almost eight ounces but it will only be a bit over two pounds even then.

Its a great CCW gun, in a Crossbreed IWB.
10 round mag in the gun, get a 13 round G21 mag for a reload.
