Thought I'd share...
This past weekend I got a chance to head up to NC to visit family and while there I got to go out to the Durham PD firing range for some fun. I got to run through their pistol course with my 1911 and M&P9c. Shooting 8" pies at distances between 7-10yds, from draw, side-to-side movement and reload & malfuntion drills. A blast, of course! Then I was able to run a simular shotgun course, using an 11-87 12ga. Again, practicing presentation, movement, reloading and malfunction drills. To ice the cake I was allowed to run a few drills with one of their MP5SDs, full auto of course! :biggrin: I was hoping to get some rifle drills with my AK but the SWAT guys had to train on that part of the range. They were doing simple advancement & fire drills, semi and burst fire, gas masks and some other stuff. Overall, I had one helluva time!
