Fourth graders told to draw disturbing images of 9/11 terrorist attacks for anniversa

Parents of fourth graders were left outraged after their children were given a class assignment in which they had to draw detailed pictures showing the September 11 terrorists attacks.

Ivie Gremillion was horrified by the drawing her daughter produced in the class. The picture depicted the burning twin towers with people plunging to their deaths yelling, ‘Help’ and ‘I love you.’

Another child given the assignment on Monday, the day before the 11th anniversary of the attacks, drew a picture showing a person falling from the building saying: ‘One way ticket to heaven.’

When I first heard about this, I couldn’t even think where this stupid A$$ hole was coming from, children this young really don’t need to delve into this subject, they can be told about it on a level that they can understand, but to have them draw these pictures is one the stupidest things I’ve heard about for along time.

Regarding the class assignment only, I think that education should include the truth. The truth is that we are fighting people whose ideology includes the complete destruction and subjugation of everybody in the world who is not Muslim. These people are willing to kill everybody, with, bombs, bullets, fire, or sword. People who would use chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons against people whose only offense (in their eyes) is that they demand their right to think, feel, and as they see fit.
The children need to grow up understanding the threat they will face, and the existential threat it poses.

I don't care who you are, or what religion is. If your religion or philosophy teaches that it is required to injure and kill people because they think, feel, and worship differently than you, then your religion or philosophy sucks. We will eventually get to the point where Islam will have to learn that if they can't play nice with the other kids, they are not going to be allowed to play. I believe that a war with islam is inevitable. I'm willing to start now, while we have overwhelming military force.

Not going to happen with the current administration. I wouldn't want the current administration to wage their kind of PC war. That's what's got us in the current mess we have. The PC crowd doesn't understand over whelming force, which does include collateral damage. That's the nature of war.
