That's right.

29 year old Shaneka Monique Torres and a girlfriend visited a Grand Rapids area McDonalds Sunday night. Visiting this particular McD was their first mistake. I can tell you from personal experience that it is one of the worst in town.

According to them, the drive through got the order wrong, and promised them a free meal during their next visit. They returned to the same location a few hours later (early Monday morning) to collect on their free meal. The drive through once again got the order wrong - they left the bacon off the burger. Shaneka, the passenger in the vehicle,leaned across the driver with a 9mm in her hand and began arguing with the drive through attendant. When she didn't get it her way (yeah, I know - wrong franchise), she cooked off a shot through the drive through window, hitting no one. She and her girlfriend then sped off.

As usual, it was her own brilliance that led to her arrest. Because of the mixup with the orders, she had left her cell phone number with the store manager. Anyone care to guess how they tracked her down? She is facing three felony firearms charges, including carrying a concealed weapon.

The court video was telling. While followup reports say she cooperated with the police, when she had her video chat with the judge during her arraignment, the look on her face was, "Pfff, whateva."

Here's the only video report I can find online so far. It only shows a couple of brief clips of pistolera Torres at her arraignment, but you're right, she doesn't look like she's taking it very seriously.

The last clip shows her actually laughing. I wonder if her friend (who was the driver that she fired right past from the passenger seat) will testify against her? Or if she'll tell the truth about what happened regardless of which side puts her on the stand? Damn, it almost sounds like I'm talking about a cop's trial, doesn't it? Now it's my turn Shaneka....Pffft. Wahevah! LOL

Don't worry. Before it is all over her lawyer will blaming McDonalds, the hand gun manufacture for a faulty safety, her lack of two parents in the home and the night club for serving her a drink. She'll be back on the street in no time.
