Locally, a bar owner came out in his parking lot, and saw two brothers fighting. He pulled his gun, and told them to knock it off, or he would shoot. He lost his bar, he was charged with terroristic threats, use of a gun to commit a felony, his trial has just started, and he faces 60 months to 60 years in jail. It is no longer politically correct to use a gun for situation control.

I guess Daddy's have been taking a protective approach to his little girl for years. This reminds me of the recent country song by Kaylee Rutland called "Daddy's Got A .45". It's a fun video on You Tube you can see here.

These are hilarious. My oldest daughter still gives me a hard time about her very first date. I was conveniently cleaning my shotgun when he came to get her. I silently regarded him for a moment before telling him she was very precious and I expected him to deliver her back in perfect condition or I'd be VERY upset. And quoting the old Bill Bixby hulk character I added "you don't want to see me upset".

Sheesh, you'd think she would forget it by now.

She got a handgun for her 21st birthday. She is pretty darn good with it.
