FNX 9 or HK P30

Thinking of getting a new 9. I think I have my mind made up but would like to hear from FNX and HKP30 owners. Especially if you have both. Let me know what you think. Anyone can throw their $.02 in if they want but on these 2 guns.
Thanks

I love my HK USP comp. Never had the op. to shoot any FNH. But I've owned and for the most part have been very loyal to Sigs and my HK gives the sigs I've shot a run for their money. But from what I've read the FNX model is supposed to be real smooth and very well thought out. A honest upgrade from the FNH pistols, even they look almost identical.

Thanks Horkos. I like my HK USPc in .40 but trying to decide on the P30 or FNX. I do like the DA first pull on the FNX

I have the FNP-45 which is what the FNX line used for their 40 and 9mm as a model. Now if i had to choose between the FNX9 and P30....I would have to go with the P30. Only reason is for ergo's. When I hold it in my hand it just feels so right, the gun that is:laugh:. The P30 is actually one of the pistols on my list to buy just have not yet.

I cant speak for the FN but i absolutely love my P30. Hands down the best feeling gun ive ever held. Best shooting pistol of its type that ive ever shot

Thanks all. HK are some of the best guns. I have heard so much about the FNX though. I did have one in my hand and the first pull is very nice. I will have to go and check the P30 again and the FNX.

Finally getting back on this.
Went to indoor range two weeks ago with the new FNX 9. Not an expert on testing and review but this is what I did.
Shot a total of 140 rounds. 70 of 115gr. Winchester FMJ
30 124 gr. Federal American Eagle
15 147 gr. Winchester JHP
25 124 gr. +P Speers Gold Dot JHP
No problems whatsoever. They don't call me "deadeye" but I was happy with the accuracy of the gun. I shot some at 9' but most were at 15 and 21'. I did some "same hole drills" and surprised myself by putting quite a few in the same hole. Must have been the gun not me. That was at 15'. The 147 gr. jhp seemed very accurate to me. I will shoot the Gold Dot and the 147 gr. again and make a more conscious comparison between the two again. The +p Gold Dot might take more getting used to.
It was a decent variety of ammo with no problems. Everything was very nice. So far I would recommend the FNX 9. It has a 4" barrel which is long enough for good ballistics and accuracy and not too long to CC. Plus it is completely "ambi". My last shot of the day was one long shot at 50' (long for me). I put it in the 6" circle. Not right in the middle but between the edge and the middle. Good enough for now.
