FNP9 9mm DA/SA Question

I shot my new FNP9 9mm yesterday and was shooting only in the SA mode but after 100 rds the hammer didn't stay cocked about 3 or 4 times and I had to manually cock it before firing to keep it in SA. Is this s defect in the gun or what would be the cause of this? I was shooting all factory loads no reloads.

Check your owner's manual first. But offhand it sounds broken and in need of gunsmithing.
