At some point next week, Florida will become the first state in the nation to have 1 million active concealed carry permit holders....To put this in perspective, Florida has 14 million residents who are age-eligible (over 21) for a CCW permit. So, that means one out of every 14 Floridians or 7 percent have CCW permits.

You go, Florida!!!

Actually, Florida will have 900,000 permit holders. 100,000 or so of its permits are issued to non-residents.

None the less, that's a big number.

Michigan put limits on open carry for the first time in our history with a bill that was passed late last night. CPL holders used to be able to OC in a pfz, but under a compromise reached with the governor in exchange for his signature on the bill (which allows CC in a pfz), that is no longer permitted. OC is still allowed everywhere else.
