Flight Attendant Tries to Bring Loaded Gun Through Airport Security

It definitely does happen fequently. It just happened again on Thursday, Sept. 27th. A firefighter travelling out of Orlando actually got through TSA, and on to the plane with her gun. She reported it after landing, and some TSA person in Orlando is in deep doo-doo. Here's the story.

I learned how to safely unload a revolver when I was a kid. It was a toy revolver using snap caps. ;-)

It baffles me that any adult would have managed to grow up without just accidentally acquiring the knowledge that all you do is swing out the cylinder and push the ejector rod. Not much to it.

Try dropping the mag on a Walther PK380 if you had never handled one.

...now where the heck is the magazine release on this dang thing?...
Bottom of the trigger guard.

Think that fooled ya? Try to chamber your +1 manually, slide only stays open when you insert a magazine. Hard to safely pass off a pistol like that with no rear locking slide!
