I know a lot of people on here will not appreciate this song but do yourself a favor and listen to this five year old boy sing. It is a stunning performance for one so young.

Amazing! It's almost impossible to believe he's only five years old.
That was always my dad's favorite song and one that was sung at his funeral. Always brings tears to my eyes. My mother was a church organist for about 54 years so I heard her practicing that song with various singers over the years. But none that were so young. And probably none that were any better. It'll be interesting to see what he sounds like when he's older.

Oldgrunt, thanks for posting that video. It's a beautiful rendition of one of my favorite songs.

I don't know if it is our society, the Internet, or what has made me cynical, but this sounded like a live stage recording with back up singers. I would hope that this recording was truly of this boy and he wasn't lip-syncing especially to this song.

One of my favorites and done so well it brought tears to my eyes! Unbelievable voice for ANYONE, let alone a five-year old.
