Well I got my first gun it is a FEG/I R61 380 ACP. I went to go shoot it this past week for the first time and it worked real well. I had no problems out of it. Anyone know anyting about them .
It appears that FEGARMY basically designed a line of pistols copying the Walther PPK. This is one of the most copied pistol designs in the world, almost as much as the Colt 1911. The PPK design is quite reliable, and is considered by many to be an improvement over previously single-action designs of semi-automatic pistols, because the first shot can be fired double-action. No need to carry with the hammer cocked. Also, I presume your gun has a fixed (rather than floating) barrel? This will make for a nice tight shot group for the life of the gun.
FEGARMY used an aluminum alloy in their earlier pistols, which was subject to a lot of wear and tear. On the R61 models, the alloy was modified by adding 1% titanium, which made it substantially stronger. Source: Hungarian Weapons - FEGArmy FEG Pistols
