Firearms Training for Those Who Live in the Seattle / Tacoma Area

I'm making a shameless plug for a very excellent firearms training organization that I belong to. It is the Armed Defense Training Association or ADTA for short. Here's a link to the ADTA website: www.armeddefense.org This is a non profit member driven organization. We pretty much follow the Frontsight training model. Most of our instructors, myself included have trained at Frontsight as well as training from other organizations such as FAS, Lethal Force Institute and so on. This is an excellent way to continue your training without breaking the bank. We also train in other disciplines as well, for example we do unarmed self defense including gun take aways, gun retention and defense against knife attack. Here is a video of one of our instructors teaching firearm disarmament when a gun is pointed at you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4FtjrcvrcQ#at=76

Our membership fee structure is cheap compared to everyone else. $130 bucks a year!!! That's it! It's a heck of a lot cheaper than paying $400 bucks for a weekend class and not being able to practice what you learned at your favorite range compared to excellent Frontsight type of training that is ongoing for $130 bucks per year. We have monthly meetings in Federal Way along with monthly shoots at various indoor shooting ranges on the I-5 corridor. Check us out. The monthly meetings are open to everyone and you can sign up for our email list without being a member. That way you will be informed of upcoming meetings.
