KungFuMonkey how about letting us know what kind of info that you are looking for. Like How to's, or beginners, training? A couple that I enjoyed are "Link Removed" by David Fessenden and "Link Removed" by Don Mann, U.S. Navy Seal. I'm sure some others will come up with a lot more good reading. Keep Your Powder Dry,

Not about guns but about the physchological and physiological effects of taking a life (if one should have to resort to that) and how to deal, recognize and process everything that comes along with it. Col Dave Grossman "On Killing" and "On Combat" . Don't let the titles fool you. talks about civilians too, not just the military. the effects of taking a life are equal whether civilian or military, or LEO. I was amazed at the information in these books. I highly recommend these books.

I am currently reading a book called " The Concealed Handgun Manual" by Chris Bird.It is definitely a book that should be read by anybody that carries or is considering carrying.I got it at out local library so it was free for my reading.Gotta love the library.

Good info! I am looking to learn as much as possible. I would consider myself a beginner but have been shooting for a few years (not consistently). I like to be well informed on all my "hobbies", not only for my benefit but also to be able to speak to issues that most people have about firearms. How to's are always good to have as well as any beginner books. Training books are a definite, I love learning. Even books that go into the history of firearms.

Thanks to everyone that has and will continue to respond.
