I've been shooting with my dad since I was 4-5 years old. I'm sure he took pics of me at the time. Guess it is a good thing there was no Facebook back then. This is just ridiculous.

From a Fox Radio News report:

New Jersey police and Dept. of Children and Families officials raided the home of a firearms instructor and demanded to see his guns after he posted a Facebook photo of his 11-year-old son holding a rifle.

“Someone called family services about the photo,” said Evan Nappen, an attorney representing Shawn Moore. “It led to an incredible, heavy-handed raid on his house. They wanted to see his gun safe, his guns and search his house. They even threatened to take his kids.”

Moore was not arrested or charged.

Heard about this in the radio this morning and read about it at lunch. Good grounds for a lawsuit IMO violating the 4th amendment...

Time to review that friends list. I got one off comment about the picture I posted on the other thread about this and purged a whole family.

And so has our society fallen... what was once a great, strong people has morphed and shrunk into progressive liberal panzys. Even with the child of a firearms instructor taking a photo of his son who is smiling with his new plinker... some idiot assumes maltreatment of a minor. Look around you, everywhere you go... take in the people around you, observe their behavior and speech. What you hear and see will likely disgust you, create wonder and animosity... and perhaps make you try to distant yourself from the morally degrading people abound.

Is it considered raided when his wife let them in?

The wife was probably 'intimidated' into letting 'The Gestapo' into the house.
Most folks would be intimidated in that kind of situation.

I'm glad to hear that the husband made those Fascists exit the house.
Good for him!

Ok this was not a raid the wife LET them in thus no warrant needed. The husband was called and he told them to go and they did. People this happens every day. Cops say ALLOT of things they are ALLOWED TO LIE. They do so to get what they want to get or need to get.

Police ask to come in you're home SAY NO!
Police want to talk to you SAY NO!
Police want to question you SAY "I WANT ME LAWYER"!

See it is easy.. I have a sign at the end of my driveway next tot he gate saying unless you have a warrant do not enter. One on my door saying entering this home without permission or a warrant can result in death.
