Financing A Firearm

I have decided to purchase a Colt LE6920 AR.
The Guns price point is around $1,100.00. I Don't Have $1,100.00 in cash on hand.
The Colt LE6920 is available at many Walmart locations.

Financing:

Walmart offers a "Walmart Credit Card". Generally, I don't go for store credit cards unless there is something in it for me.

The interest rate on their CC is 22.90%. A Rate I consider to be Usery.
BUT,
If you apply for their card, the first time you use it on a purchase over $100.00 you get $20.00 off the purchase.
(Your still going to lose money @ 22.90%)
BUT,
If you pay it off in 18 Months, it is interest Free.

I personally love using businesses money.
My Television, 0% interest because I paid it off in 12 Months,
My New Roof, Because I paid it off in 18 Months,
The same with the Refrigerator,
And the Stove...

So I'm thinking Using Walmarts money, AND, getting $20.00 off the purchase price, Not a bad deal.

*NOTE: To receive the $20.00 off your first purchase with the credit card you must print off a coupon type thing.
THEN- To use the card as 18 Months with no interest you must again print off a coupon type bar code to be scanned at the time of purchase.

I think you said it all right there.

Do you really NEED the AR right now? Why not save up for it and get it when you can afford it?

Debt is a master that makes you its slave, 0% or not.

If you do not have one I would buy one on credit, however at anything over 10% I would not. Credit Unions, mine offers a great deal, in store ones are such a rip off. If you are able to pay off a balance with in a six month window and want and need ( I need a Nighthawk, Ed Brown and Kimber ) the AR, feel good about it go for it!

Works for me. I have used OPM (Other People's Money) to purchase a number of goods I could have paid for at the time but why use my money?
