One day short of 12 weeks and my Indiana Concealed Carry Permit finally showed up.

Congrats, however, Indiana does NOT issue "Concealed Carry Permits"..... we are issued a "License To Carry Handgun" .... and its either for open carry or concealed...

In Kansas, it's guaranteed to be issued (or denied) within 90 days of receiving the application, BY LAW. However it doesn't say what happens if you don't have it in 90 days. My daughter emailed hers on January 14th and hasn't heard anything yet. Anyone else in Kansas that's been waiting over 90 days?

Only because tyrants abuse their positions and have henchmen to enforce that abuse.

Picked up my NC CHP (concealed handgun permit) from the Sheriff's office today, 58 days after applications were submitted. This is in NC where ever sheriff has their own timeline, and some add requirements not mandated by state law. State law states they should be issued within 45 days, but that is after all the mental health check have been received by the sheriff. Some counties are now giving appointments to actually submit the application as far out as July or August, when the 45 - 90 day timer starts.

But you live in a state that does not allow open carry
