Just received my Florida non-resident permit. What state should I get next that will give me the maximum number of states covered?

Thanks,
Michael

Utah has a lot of coverage. Check the info out on this site, and see which works best for you in the state you live in. There are going to be some states you either will not get permission to carry in or it will be too much of a hassle to get. I personally avoid these states in my travels.

I have PA resident LTCF, and Utah's non-resident.

I have Florida, Virginia, and Utah. Between the three of them I cover all states that accept non-resident permits. Since I am a IL resident I am of course not trusted in my oown state.

Me too. But I also sent for an Arizona license which gave me a few more states. I also have a New Hampshire one, but my other ones cover any states that NH does, so I will not be renewing it in December.

I went with what gives me most coverage for where I will be traveling. NH Resident - Non res for ME/PA/FL and the hardest to acquire was MA.

Assuming you're starting with an OH permit, FL gives you just about every place that's possible, except MN. Either UT or AZ will add that one state for you. Since CO doesn't recognize OH, and doesn't recognize non-resident's permits, that's out.
