After a series of robberies, at least three Grand Rapids Fifth Third Bank locations set up metal detectors in addition to their gun free zone signs in 2012. You can legally OC in banks in Michigan if you possess a CPL unless the bank posts itself as gun free as private property. Not aware that they have an alternate method of entry for those customers with pace makers/defibrillators who are advised to stay away from metal detectors.

So everyone with anything metal has to strip down? what? It'd take me half an hour to get in and out of a bank there. I do NOT miss that state at ALL. Also, MI is not a force of law state. gun-buster signs hold no legal power for CPL holders.
