Just had to share the news, my fiance got her carry permit a while back and we got her a ccw purse from gun toten mammas, along with a pink sigsauer mosquito. I was uneasy about her carrying only a 22cal. but that's what she wanted. Anyway yesterday we went to Scheels in Iowa City and she got a S&W model 60 .38cal also I had to get a pink grip {she loves pink] to put on it. Well now shes all set and ready for some range time. I am so glad shes taking this seriously and having fun as well. Thanks for listening.

It's always good to hear that another Lady has gotten thier CCW, and is Carrying.
My Wife also has her CCW, and Carry's the same Weapon as I,Para Hawg .45 ACP W/ 230gr. JHP.
It's the Weapon she picked to Carry. Out of all my Handguns, She Shot, and handled,
She prefered the.45ACP. To add insult to Injury.
She shot tighter groups than I did. I can admit, she put me to same that day.

Congrats. My wife wants to take the class but doesnt want to carry. She loves to shoot and has her own hand gun.

That's great news. I've been trying to talk a lady friend of mine into arming herself and she said she's not against it but really hasn't gave it much thought. She lives in NJ and they are gestapo like, similar to NY and CA so I don't think it will a priority of hers which is too bad

Congrats! I love women who takes responsibility very seriously. Our men will not always be around 24/7. Besides it is easier if both of you carry, one can protect the other just in case.

My lady carry's this on her waist every day.....and she has everything pink! The gun handles great, she is accurate out to 25 yards..which amazed me with such a small gun! It is small, thin, we had a friend make her a pink holster (in the pant) with belt clip, leather. I get concerned with ladies carrying the weapon in the purse..that is the first thing a thug is going to grab for, that might be all he wants...Also check out the sticky holster..she carrys a colt pony in that when she feels the need for an accessory change!

Remember this old story about a woman at a bus stop? She was carrying her gun purse with her hand holding her gun while waiting for the bus. A man suddenly grabbed her purse and run away with it. She was left with her gun in her hand and shot the guy who was running away. She shot her life away until she emptied her magazine -- all 8 of them. In court, the judge asked "Why 8?" She said "Because on the 9th, my gun just clicked." She got out of it. Only in Texas, eh? Not every judge can be as lenient...it could have gone the other way...<g>
