Don't know if it is fear mongering or true but one can't be too vigilant these days. Keep your eyes and ears open Memphis.

A warning has been issued by the FBI’s Memphis Division warning police officers to be on the look out for suspicious activity. The warning came from an anonymous complaint and stated that ISIS instructed an ISIS member, a presumed USPER (law enforcement acronym for U.S. person) in Memphis, with a direct order to blow up the Memphis-Arkansas bridge on an unknown date, activating ISIS terror cells in the United States.

The Memphis Division’s FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the threat.

“Although we received an anonymous threat, there is no actionable intelligence regarding an attack on the bridge. We take every threat seriously and whenever we receive a threat like this we take steps to inform all of our law enforcement partners,” Supervisory Special Agent Joel Siskovic, spokesman for the FBI Memphis Division, told FOX13 News.

Homeland Security Officials have been warning about ISIS inspired attacks in the U.S. since this fall.

A Memphis Police spokesperson told FOX13 the department is aware of the threat and officers are patrolling the area around the bridge looking for suspicious activity. Surveillance cameras linked the MPD’s Real Time Crime Center are focused on the bridge 24 hours a day.

The Memphis-Arkansas Bridge is a major interstate thoroughfare connecting Tennessee and Arkansas. Nearly 56,000 cars and trucks cross the bridge daily according to Tennessee Department of Transportation statistics. And it’s not just road traffic. In addition, barge traffic traveling under the bridge on the Mississippi River pumps billions of dollars into the U.S. economy according to trade groups.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the current White House Administration has absolutely no control! Stay on the lookout Memphis and report any suspicious activity to your local police precinct. Are you shocked at the recent events in our country?

Seems hard to believe anyone can assemble the materials and set the charges blow a major bridge. I don't think its a credible threat.

Hmmm, I remember a Federal Building that was all but leveled... Naa, No one could assemble that kind of Bomb again...

Would an attack on Memphis shut down the neurotic caterwaulin' known as C&W "music?"
You prefer disco? :fie: My wife's a heavy country music fan. What I really hate is that electronic crap the kids listen to. What makes one guy a good rapper and another a crummy rapper? Neither are singing. Who disses better? No talent anymore. Today's youth don't do anything. They spend hours getting good at "Guitar Hero" instead of learning to play the guitar. They learn to rap instead of singing. They want to press a button and make music, they have no knowledge of music theory. Very superficial youth.

ISIS Embedded In America: PLOTTING MAJOR Terror Attack!

Not only is it possible but I think highly probable we will see something. This is what I feel the elitists want to happen so martial law can be initiated and Homobama the minion would become permanent dicktater. If it does happen then that would be an act of war by Islam so Mooslums better watch out.

The bridge may not be a credible threat and could be misdirection but they would likely use a rolling bomb in any attack. Islam is trying to instill fear, uncertainty and confusion to try and dominate us.

I like that bridge. Been across it more times in my youth than I may count. Of course, I don't remember much about my youth, but it would still be disastrous to lose that bridge.

Howdy,

I wonder if the attack will be carried out by the ISIS group that's COMFIRMED to be staged in Juarez, MX? All they would have to do is cross the Border, drive 8 hours to the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex, that contains roughly 7 million people BTW, then thanks I-30 East another roughly 300 miles to I-40 East and drive another roughly 135 miles through Arkansas, that contains roughly 2.9 million people or less than half that of D/FW, to the I-40 Ark-Tenn Bridge.

Sure "IF" they blew the bridge theres still the I-55 bridge about 2 miles south of the I-40 bridge, another one at West Helena-Lula, another one a little farther south at Greenville, MS and another north of the I-40 bridge.

Just a slight inconvenience.
