FBI Denied letter [Please help]

I know it is Christmas eve, but I am scared of what might happen.

What happened:

I went to Bass Pro Shop on the 15th to purchase a firearm, I got delayed and sent to the FBI website I submitted all the paperwork necessary for what they were asking for (court minutes from when all charges were droped) I received a call on the 20th of December from Bass Pro Shop saying I can come pick up my firearm.

Fast forward to today December 24th I receive a letter from the FBI stating that I have been denied is this a mistake or is this legit. What should I do?

On a side note I use to work for Securitas and I know I have and can pass a background check since they did a deep background check and issued me a LIC to be a guard in the State of Louisiana.

Backstory:

I was arrested sometime ago for a dispute involving a family member the charges were later dropped by the DA via the request of the family member who had been drinking and admitted that he provoked the fight and attacked me.

Is this letter just a delayed reaction on the FBI's end or am I legit in being concerned?

Thank you for your time and help on this matter.

Background checks for different purposes also differ in their nature. You actually can pass one background check for employment and fail another for a firearm purchase. Also, the various government agencies regularly make mistakes in both, passing and failing background checks of individuals.

If the FBI says that you are denied, then you are denied. If you have already taken possession of the firearm, then you have a legal problem. Have you ever thought of getting professional legal help? You know, from someone who actually knows the law and understands the details of your case?

Yes I have contacted an attorney so far no answer from them. I was arrested and let go on a $10 bail and in court charges were dropped I even have the minutes from the court stating that the DA has dropped all charges. I was stopped a year ago with a firearm and he went to his car and did his thing and NOTHING came back and I was free to leave.

Well, what was the reason for the denial?

I was stopped a year ago with a firearm and he went to his car and did his thing and NOTHING came back and I was free to leave.

Doesn't matter. As I said, background checks differ.

The Hell With It. I'll give the Troll the answer he's looking for.

By Gawd carry anyway! Because Contitution, Murica! MY RIGHTS!!!!!! Second by God Amendmend,!!!! Ruby Ridge!!!! Obama is the antichrist by God moooslumzzzz.

Happy now?

Contact an attorney who specializes in Second Amendment cases and is licenced to practice in your state and ask him what to do

Finally got to a pc.
I got in contact with my lawyer and went to meet him. Showed him the letter and all my court documents. He said I have nothing to worry about it was a delay reaction mail sent after I sent in court docs the same day I was put on a delay. Anyways thank you for your time and helping me in the matter. I was more concerned about getting pulled over and them asking about it and get in a **** load of trouble even though I was never convicted in the matter. The lawyer also made copies for me to carry in my wallet and in my truck so in case I get asked.

Domestic violence.....that's it. You can thank Slick Willie for that. They go bug **** with that stuff and it's sort of in its own separate category. No doubt they had to send it off for further verification which takes time.
Along that same vein here's another thought for you married guys with bitchy wives who love to act out. If she decides to make up a story that you roughed her up and call the cops you should ask for a polygraph. Blow all your rights around all you want but she can literally make this stuff up and stick it right to you. I've seen this myself. Ive also seen what happens when the guy goes straight to the cops and deals with it like this.
Suddenly everything goes away real fast. Unfortunately they probably won't charge her for filing a false report just because she's special but it will send her scrambling for cover and shoots her credibility to zero , well maybe? Otherwise you will end up with this sort of thing haunting you forever. Of course if you really did punch her out oh well, none of this applies.

Just like a cop to think he knows everything when he don't know squat.
